First of all we have nothing to do with openly publishing the Leanne Holland crime scene photographs.
The Leanne Holland murder happend in September 1991 and in 2002 a textbook appeared which contained exact those 3 crime scene photographs. Funny fact however is that someone put exact those three pics with full personal information online some days after the investigation got re-opend.

Strange thing no one has seen these photographs public?
Not quite. As most reality/gore sites have a strict rule about personal information.
The photographs are roaming the underground scene for years labeld without personal info.

A wise journalist once said: "Gore sites telling they bring news.... Making a compilation of ten decapitations is NOT news!"
Same goes for the shock and awe of this matter.


Question: Are you guys and galls better?
Answer: Well in the general opinion maybe not but we don't rub people's and family faces into shit they don't deserve!

Question: Why this statement?
Answer: Simple we see an influx in our stats. Not that a riddle as we have Dutch staff and previously hosted in the Netherlands and we are a DUTCH SITE. However we don't want to be associated with this utterly disgusting matter.

Question: Ever handeld with; government officials, justice department or the police. Considering your sites?
Answer: More than once would be an understatement.... First of all most of our content is user contributed in some way. And as we truly believe in freedom of speech every user can post what ever he/she likes within the rules (we have things like a video and image upload function in place for users). That brings another predicament to our sites: we need to moderate posts and comments after posting. We have staff for all sites that is around about 18 people at the moment. But still some matter can slip through as we ain't robots on a 24/7 watch. In those cases we mis a thing, let some tiny thing slip. Officials know where to find us and the matter is most of the time solved in hours.
To give an idea: At one time a person working for a justice department phoned an administrator about some content we better should remove and gave instructions how to handle this the proper way. The guy loved our way and wouldn't see us hurt. How he got the phone-number? Beats me then again he worked for the justice department....
In essence we are bound by law but we are also human beings with human values.

Question: So you guys bring news?
Answer: No we give a platform for people who like this content to discuss it in a true freedom of speech way. And let me note true freedom of speech also has its limitations: human and moral values! (sure ours are a bit of scale but we still have them!)


Why is this statement so important for us?
We are just doing our thing for the people that want to see it. If we are bound by law to co-operate with what kind of government or justice department we will.
But utmost we don't pretend to be housewifes with terrabytes of gore. Or saying we are a journalist outlet of what kind helping police. Come one... What a load of crap.
Most of our staff has families of their own with kids.
We are just interrested in the one part of life we all end up in and that is death in one of its many ways....
